Tough Washington-Kyiv Talks in Miami
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency, a source from the ukrainian delegation told agence France-Presse that negotiations between the United states and Ukraine in Miami are progressing with difficulty.
The source added that drafting texts and finding solutions remain under review.
He emphasized that both sides are eager to reach a tangible outcome to clarify key issues for upcoming US-Russia talks.
American and Ukrainian officials had announced that delegations from both countries would hold discussions on Sunday morning local time in Miami, ahead of representatives of US President Donald Trump (Witkoff and Kushner) traveling to Moscow for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The United States and Ukraine are working to finalize understandings on the US peace plan, which has undergone critically important revisions over several days of negotiations to make it more acceptable to Kyiv.
