Maduro Warns OPEC Against U.S. Attempts to Seize Venezuelan Oil

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro sent an official letter to OPEC and OPEC+ warning about the consequences of Washington’s plans to seize his country’s immense oil reserves.He stated that such actions would have a “very serious” impact on the global energy market.
The Venezuelan government condemned U.S. efforts to “illegally confiscate” its oil resources during recent meetings of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and the OPEC+ coalition.
In his firm letter, Maduro asserted that the U.S. is attempting to seize Venezuela’s enormous proven oil reserves-the largest in the world-through military force. He warned this move would dangerously disrupt global energy market stability.
