U.S. Approves Sale of New Weapons to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain

The US Department of Defence announced approval for new arms sales to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) stated that the US State Department has approved a potential $500 million logistics support package sale to Saudi Arabia.
The Pentagon report also confirmed that the State Department agreed to a possible sale of F-16 fighter jets to Bahrain valued at $445 million.
Simultaneously occurring, Poland’s Ministry of Defense announced it has received 32 advanced American M1A2 Abrams tanks.
