During the meeting, President Xi Jinping stated that China and France should support multilateralism in their relations. He also emphasized Beijing’s readiness to work with Paris to strengthen dialogue and cooperation across various sectors.
President Macron acknowledged China’s potential role in influencing a ceasefire in Ukraine. He further stated the necessity of moving past disagreements to restore trade balance through mutual investment.
