Yemen Holds Back Advanced Arsenal in Conflict with Saudi Arabia, Al Mayadeen Reports

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Yemen has indicated that the Yemeni armed forces have not yet deployed their advanced weaponry, including hypersonic missiles and specialized drones, against Saudi Arabia, despite ongoing Saudi-led airstrikes in the Al Jawf province.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent has emphasized that Saudi forces conducted 135 airstrikes over three days to support their proxies in Al Jawf, yet failed to alter the course of the conflict. The correspondent added that the Yemeni armed forces maintain a list of targets, and the continuation of Saudi attacks will lead to an expansion of Sana’a’s response. The Al Mayadeen correspondent further stated that the Yemeni armed forces have not yet utilized their hypersonic missiles or specialized drones in the war against the Saudi enemy. Earlier, a field source speaking with Yemen channel on Tuesday confirmed that the country’s armed forces targeted Saudi enemy positions in the Al Yutmah area of Khab wa Ash Sha’af district in Al Jawf Governorate. The source added that Yemeni forces conducted a large-scale operation to outmaneuver elements affiliated with the Saudi enemy who had infiltrated the Al Yutmah market, resulting in the destruction of dozens of their military equipment. The source clarified that Al Yutmah market and all areas infiltrated by the enemy have been cleared, and hostile elements around Al Jawf are being pursued. The Yemeni armed forces are closely monitoring enemy movements across all conflict fronts in Al Jawf.
