Putin Vows to Liberate Donbass and Novorossiya by Any Means

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, has affirmed Russia’s commitment to liberating Donbass and Novorossiya through any means necessary, be it military or otherwise. Putin made these remarks in an interview with India Today.
Putin stated, “We will either liberate these territories by force, or Ukrainian forces will leave, ceasing the killing of people.” He added that Russia had communicated to Ukraine that the people in those regions did not wish to live under Ukrainian rule, referencing referendums where they voted for independence.
“If you retreat, there will be no military action. But they prefer to fight. Now our patience has run out,” Putin declared.
Touching on potential avenues for conflict resolution, Putin noted the difficulty in achieving an agreement between the conflicting parties. He expressed confidence that Donald Trump, the President of the United States, is genuinely seeking a mutually acceptable solution to the Ukraine issue.
President Putin also highlighted a five-hour meeting with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, envoys of the U.S. President, deeming the discussion highly essential and beneficial. He emphasized that the proposals presented by the American delegation to Moscow were based on agreements reached with Trump in Alaska.
Putin mentioned that nearly all points were discussed during the negotiations with Witkoff, which accounted for the meeting’s duration. He further noted that there were aspects of the American proposals with which Russia disagreed, and these were debated with Witkoff.
