Modi and Putin Discuss International Developments, Economic Cooperation

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced he discussed international developments with Russian President Vladimir Putin, emphasizing India’s commitment to peace and conflict resolution in Ukraine. The two leaders also agreed on a program for economic cooperation through 2030 to diversify trade and investment.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated in a post on X that Russia and India have agreed on a program for economic cooperation until 2030. This initiative aims to diversify trade and investment between the two countries.
“I had the opportunity for a comprehensive review of cooperation,” Modi said. “We discussed improving relations and strengthening them in various fields.”
He added, “In my talks with Putin, I also discussed global developments. I emphasized India’s commitment to peace and efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. We emphasized jointly combating the threat of terrorism and continuing strong cooperation in various fields.”
