White House Announces Witkaf’s Consultations on Ukraine and Gaza
The White House announced that Steve Witkaf, the U.S. President’s Special Envoy, is holding consultations focused on Ukraine and Gaza. Witkaf will be meeting with various mediators and advisors in Miami to discuss the next steps in addressing these critical situations.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt stated on Friday that Steve Witkaf, the U.S. President’s Special Envoy, is in Miami engaging with Qatari, Egyptian, and Turkish mediators to discuss the next phase concerning Gaza.
Speaking to Al Jazeera, the White House spokeswoman added that Witkaf’s discussions with a Russian delegation are scheduled for Saturday.
Separately, Barak Ravid of Axios reported that Steve Witkaf is scheduled to meet with Rustem Umerov, Head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, along with security advisors from Germany, France, and the UK in Miami.
