Northern Occupied Territories Still Reeling from Hezbollah Attacks, Israeli Media Reports

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, northern occupied territories have yet to return to normalcy following the cessation of hostilities with Lebanon’s Hezbollah, as reported by Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom. Local residents feel that conflicts in the region remain unresolved, creating an atmosphere of lingering unrest.
The report highlights that current conditions have severely hampered investment in these areas, with economic activities struggling to regain momentum. Meanwhile, Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth noted that residents of the occupied settlement of Kiryat Shmona have staged protests for the second consecutive week, demanding urgent government intervention.
Protesters have called on Prime Minister Netanyahu’s cabinet to address their deteriorating living conditions, describing Kiryat Shmona as a war-torn area requiring extensive rehabilitation efforts.
