Ukraine and Russia Escalate Aerial Warfare; 27 Killed in Kherson Attack
Ukrainian forces reported downing 86 Russian drones amid intensified aerial strikes, while Russian investigators confirmed 27 fatalities in a Kherson region attack attributed to Ukrainian armed forces.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ukraine‘s military announced the interception of 86 Russian drones during heavy aerial assaults targeting 23 locations in southern and eastern Ukraine. Simultaneously, Russia’s Investigative Committee reported 27 deaths, including two teenagers, from what it described as a terrorist attack by Ukrainian armed forces in the village of Khorly, Kherson region. Svetlana Petrenko, a committee spokesperson, stated that 31 injured victims, five of them children, were hospitalized, with 14 remaining under medical care.
