Escalating Clashes Between SDF and Syrian Regime Forces in Raqqa and Aleppo
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, intense fighting has erupted between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and pro-Damascus factions in the Debsi Afnan axis and the outskirts of Al-Rasafa. The SDF accused the opposing forces of breaching recent agreements and betraying their commitments during the withdrawal from agreed-upon areas.
The SDF further reported that the western outskirts of Raqqa are under heavy artillery and missile fire, with their forces engaged in fierce battles. They emphasized their efforts to reinforce defensive lines and maintain full combat readiness to repel what they described as treacherous attacks.
Amid escalating clashes with regime-affiliated forces in southern Raqqa province, the SDF is deploying additional military reinforcements to the region. Media reports have circulated footage showing SDF forces shelling Syrian government positions in eastern Aleppo and southern Raqqa.
