Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed that Washington has suggested both Moscow and Kyiv refrain from using long-range capabilities, while emphasizing no formal agreement exists on avoiding energy infrastructure attacks.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Washington has proposed during recent negotiations that both Moscow and Kyiv abstain from deploying long-range military capabilities. Zelenskyy clarified that no official agreement exists between Ukraine and Russia regarding the avoidance of targeting energy facilities, adding that Russia has halted the process of prisoner exchanges.

Zelenskyy further noted that Kyiv would refrain from attacking Russian energy infrastructure if Moscow ceases its assaults on Ukraine’s energy systems. However, he stressed that Ukraine and Russia remain at odds over territorial disputes, with no compromise reached.
