Hungarian Official Compares Ukraine’s Mandatory Military Service to Human Hunting

A Hungarian official has criticized Ukraine’s mandatory military service, likening it to human hunting, while questioning the EU’s continued support for Kyiv amid the ongoing conflict with Russia.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Balázs Orbán, an aide to the Hungarian Prime Minister, has likened Ukraine’s mandatory military conscription to a form of hunting, condemning the practice amid the war with Russia. He highlighted the efforts of Ukrainian youths to evade conscription and criticized the European Union for its unwavering financial support of Kyiv.
Orbán stated that Brussels has turned a blind eye to these issues while continuing to fund Ukraine. Hungary remains one of the few European nations maintaining close ties with Russia and opposing Western support for Ukraine against Moscow.
