Jordan’s King Abdullah II Emphasizes Support for Regional Diplomacy

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, King Abdullah II of Jordan has emphasized the importance of diplomacy in addressing regional tensions during a meeting with political and media figures in the country. The monarch stated that Jordan remains focused on safeguarding the interests of its citizens and working towards regional stability.

King Abdullah II expressed hope that tensions could be reduced through peaceful methods, highlighting Jordan’s support for dialogue as the preferred approach to resolving conflicts. He also addressed regional developments, including the situation in Iran, reiterating Jordan’s stance in favor of diplomatic engagement.

Regarding Syria, the king stressed that achieving stability in the country would benefit Jordan. Additionally, he called for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza and a reduction in the Zionist regime’s aggressions against the West Bank.
