Israeli Soldier Killed in Friendly Fire Incident in Gaza

The Israeli army has confirmed the death of an intelligence soldier from the paratrooper forces in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, following an incident of friendly fire by fellow Israeli soldiers. This event underscores ongoing internal security challenges within occupation forces during the Gaza conflict.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli army announced that one of its intelligence soldiers, affiliated with the paratrooper forces, was killed in Khan Yunis, located in the southern Gaza Strip. The soldier died after being shot by other Israeli military personnel.

Israeli military radio reported that it appears Israeli soldiers fired on two members of the paratrooper brigade who were on a mission in an area known as the ‘Yellow Line’. The soldier sustained severe injuries and passed away before reaching the hospital.

This incident is not the first instance of Israeli soldiers firing on each other during the Gaza war, highlighting security weaknesses and internal problems among the occupation forces.
