Saudi Arabia Conducts Mountain Warfare Drills in Taif Region

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Saudi Arabia‘s Ministry of Defense announced that its ground forces have carried out specialized combat skill training programs in the mountainous terrain of the southern region and Taif. The objective of these drills was to develop field efficiency and elevate the combat readiness level of participating units.
The training sessions were attended by Fahd Al-Juhani, Chief of Staff of the Royal Saudi Land Force. The programs included advanced exercises such as ascent and descent training, movement across highlands, firing in complex field conditions, and the execution of evacuation and rescue missions in mountainous areas. These drills simulated the realistic conditions of military operations in rugged terrains.
A statement from the Saudi Ministry of Defense indicated that these trainings are part of ongoing plans to enhance operational capabilities, with the aim of boosting combat effectiveness, improving performance quality on the battlefield, and increasing preparedness to confront various operational scenarios.
