Iran Continues Oil Exports Amid Regional Conflict, Earning Millions Daily

Despite ongoing military actions and tensions in the Persian Gulf, Iran has maintained significant oil exports, with at least 13 supertankers loading crude at Kharg Island since the commencement of hostilities. These shipments are reportedly generating substantial daily revenue for the nation.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, recent data compiled by The Financial Times reveals that Iran has continued to export oil despite the escalation of conflict in the region. Since the onset of hostilities, which prompted missile responses from Tehran towards occupied territories and American targets in the region, along with the disruption of the Strait of Hormuz, at least 13 supertankers have loaded crude oil at Kharg Island, Iran’s primary oil export terminal.

The British newspaper reports that Iran is earning approximately $140 million daily amid the ongoing conflict. The data indicates that approximately 24 million barrels of Iranian oil have transited the Strait of Hormuz during this period.

Energy data firms estimate that Iran has been exporting between 1.5 to 1.6 million barrels of oil per day since the conflict began, resulting in daily revenues of around $140 million.
