Israeli Media Contradicts Trump’s Claims on Iran Attack Awareness

Israeli media outlets have disputed U.S. President Donald Trump’s assertion that Washington was unaware of the recent attack on South Pars. Reports indicate that Israeli officials had briefed Trump, who initially expressed eagerness for the strike but has since retreated following Iran’s decisive response.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data published by the Mehr News Agency, quoting Russia Al-Youm, indicates that the Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reported that the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime had briefed Trump on the attack on South Pars. Trump reportedly showed great eagerness for this operation but has now retreated after Iran’s firm response.

Channel 12 of the Zionist regime’s television also reported that while Trump claims the United States was not aware of the attack, Israeli and American officials confirm this information. Trump’s statements appear to be an attempt to de-escalate further tensions, coming just hours after he reportedly approved the strike on South Pars.

Dan Shapiro, the former U.S. Ambassador to the occupied territories, stated that such an attack could not have occurred without the cooperation of CENTCOM with Israel. Shapiro added that Trump was aware of this and had consented to it.
