According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, stated via the social media platform X that Iran will recover its assets that have been illegally frozen in foreign banks. This development was shared following a report by Al Jazeera. The Qatari-based news outlet indicated that the President of Iran announced that $6 billion of Iran’s currently frozen assets held in Qatar would be returned as part of an initial agreement with the United States aimed at ending the conflict.
