US Refueling Aircraft Declares Emergency, Diverts to Ben Gurion Airport

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Egypt’s Intel Observer, which monitors and reports on aircraft movements in the region, announced via its social media platform X that a U.S. Air Force KC-135R Stratotanker refueling aircraft transmitted an emergency code.
The Intel Observer stated that the American military aircraft broadcasted the emergency code 7700 during its flight over the United Arab Emirates. This specific code signifies a general in-flight emergency situation.
Following the declaration of the emergency code, the refueling aircraft altered its course and returned to Ben Gurion Airport, located in Tel Aviv, Israel. Further details regarding the specific reason for the emergency declaration by the U.S. refueling aircraft have not yet been released.
