Turkey Sees No Reason for Military Conflict with Israel, Cites Election Rhetoric

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has emphasized that there is no basis for a military confrontation between Turkey and Israel. Fidan’s remarks, as reported by Rosiya Alyum via Mehr News Agency, addressed recent statements made by Israeli officials concerning Turkey.

Responding to what he described as rhetoric from Israeli politicians, Fidan suggested that such pronouncements often intensify as elections approach. He indicated that Prime Minister Netanyahu and certain members of his cabinet may feel compelled to create external adversaries, particularly after engaging in conflicts or confrontations with Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran. Fidan asserted that these political figures are now attempting to direct a similar narrative towards Turkey.

Additionally, Hakan Fidan expressed his hope for the continuation of a ceasefire between the United States and Iran.
