Iran Strikes US Drone Command Center in Bahrain in Retaliation

In a retaliatory move, Iran’s Aerospace Force struck key U.S. military facilities in Bahrain, including the drone command and control center, in response to what it described as American ‘evil and war-mongering’ actions. The operation, part of a broader reciprocal action, also targeted fuel tanks and ammunition depots at a Jordanian airbase.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that its aerospace forces have successfully struck critical U.S. military installations in Bahrain. This action is framed as a reciprocal response to what the IRGC characterized as the “evil and war-mongering” behavior of the United States, which it claims has consistently engaged in military aggression since its inception.

The IRGC statement detailed that the second phase of their reciprocal operations targeted the helicopter repair and maintenance centers, the P8 electronic warfare aircraft hangar, and the drone command and control center of the U.S. Army at the Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain. The statement further asserted that fuel tanks and ammunition storage at Jordan’s Prince Hassan Air Base were also set ablaze.

The IRGC declared that these reciprocal operations are ongoing, underscoring its commitment to responding to perceived provocations. The statement included religious verses, “And fight them until there is no more sedition and the religion, all of it, is for Allah” and “If you support Allah, He will support you and make firm your feet.”
