German Police Suppress Protest Against Arms Sales to Israel

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, German police yesterday suppressed a protest rally in front of the Rheinmetall company using force and violence. The gathering was held to protest the sale of weapons by the aforementioned company to the Zionist regime.
Environmental activist Greta Thunberg also participated in the rally in Berlin, and a number of protesters were arrested by police forces.
Participants in the protest intended to hold a sit-in but were met with a violent intervention by German police forces.
During the rally, slogans such as ‘Your weapons kill children’ and ‘Your money causes slaughter worldwide’ were chanted.
It is noteworthy that in the recent period, protests near the mentioned company in Berlin have increased. On July 11, a large demonstration involving thousands of people was held in the area.
