Cuba Faces Historic Battle Against U.S. Pressure for Regime Change, Says President Canel

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel emphasized that his country is facing a new historic battle. He highlighted that economic pressures imposed on Cuba are part of ongoing efforts to weaken the nation’s sovereignty and seize control through blockade and sanctions.
Díaz-Canel added that the United States’ sanctions are a deliberate policy designed to exert economic pressure on Cuba with the objective of inciting internal unrest and changing the political system. He noted that Cuba is neither the first nor the last country to face such pressures.
The U.S. blockade of Cuba has been a significant factor contributing to an energy crisis and the deterioration of the humanitarian situation within the country.
