Israeli Army Faces Staggering Costs and Personnel Strain, Maariv Reports

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Hebrew-language daily Maariv has acknowledged that the Israeli regime’s Air Force has conducted airstrikes equivalent to nine years’ worth of operations over the past three years. Tanks, armored personnel carriers, and other armored vehicles have also seen extensive equipment usage, with the quantity of ammunition expended by the Israeli army matching that used in the 30 years preceding the recent conflict.
The report further indicates that personnel weariness within the Israeli regime’s army presents a significant challenge. Official figures reveal the deaths of 1,138 soldiers, the involvement of 11,000 soldiers suffering from physical injuries and psychological distress, and projections of an increase in mental health issues within the Israeli military in the coming years.
Signs of burnout are clearly evident among the Israeli regime’s army personnel, leading some experienced officers to seek less demanding roles or early retirement.
Currently, the Israeli army is utilizing 53,000 reserve personnel on a daily basis. The cost of utilizing reserve forces for one month last year amounted to approximately 2.1 billion shekels, equivalent to $703 million. This expenditure is comparable to the value of seven F-35 fighter jets or seventy Merkava tanks.
