Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces Chief Praises Martyred Leader’s Unprecedented Public Devotion

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Faleh Al-Fayadh, head of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), stated during a ceremony attended by a delegation representing Iran’s Supreme Leader that it is a source of pride to commemorate the martyred leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. He described the martyred leader as an example of an unparalleled approach, enduring hardships and adversities, with a level of public devotion unprecedented in contemporary history. Al-Fayadh highlighted that leaders sacrificing their lives at the outset of a battle is a significant and unusual occurrence.
Al-Fayadh further elaborated that this martyred leader was a rare role model who endured immense difficulties and that the people’s attachment and devotion to him are unmatched in modern times. He reiterated that commanders sacrificing their lives at the beginning of confrontations is a momentous and extraordinary event. The funeral procession for this leader in Iraq, he noted, was a deeply moving event, showcasing the profound stature of the martyred leader on a humanitarian level and invigorating the spirit of defending dignity and sacred values.
He asserted that this martyred leader built a nation and awakened the conscience of society, with adversarial forces unable to extinguish his insight and vision. Al-Fayadh claimed that some entities spent hundreds of billions of dollars to tarnish the image of Iraqis and alter their identity.
Al-Fayadh added that the Iraqi nation, through the Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani and esteemed tribes, demonstrated its identity and authenticity by organizing this magnificent funeral procession. He said that the funeral of this martyred leader in Iraq proved the country’s capacity to host great and prominent figures and that its people remain committed to their original identity. He acknowledged that Iraqi tribes played a primary role in supporting and organizing the funeral of the martyred leader, preceding other institutions and groups.
Al-Fayadh pointed out that it is unusual for a leader to proactively seek sacrifice, but God has endowed some leaders with qualities that enable them to achieve victory through their martyrdom. The head of the PMF concluded by stating that the PMF remains on the path of sacrifice and jihad and that the forces renew their commitment to defense, sacrifice, and steadfastness.
