Israel Intensifies Destruction in Southern Lebanon, Targeting Infrastructure in Markaba

The Israeli military has escalated its destructive actions in southern Lebanon, launching explosives that flattened residential areas and vital infrastructure in the vicinity of the town of Markaba, amidst ongoing shelling of other Lebanese territories.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the war machine of the Zionist regime has targeted the southern region of Lebanon with brutal aggression, seemingly disregarding any international commitments. Field reports from southern Lebanon indicate that Israeli soldiers used powerful explosives to level further sections of residential areas and critical infrastructure in the outskirts of the town of Markaba.

Media reports also highlight the continued military actions by the Israeli army in these areas. Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that occupation forces carried out an explosive operation in the town of Talouseh hours ago. Simultaneously, the Israeli army’s artillery targeted the surrounding areas of Tel Debcha and Douha Kafr Rman in southern Lebanon.

The ongoing explosions and destruction of homes are occurring while international bodies and organizations claiming to advocate for human rights remain silent in the face of these blatant provocations. Political observers believe that the Zionists’ objective with these actions is to create a fictitious security belt and forcibly displace indigenous residents from their lands—a project that has repeatedly failed due to the heroic resistance of the Lebanese people and their steadfastness against the aggressors.

These successive incursions into Lebanese territory once again prove that the Zionist regime has no adherence to ceasefire agreements and uses every opportunity to expand insecurity in the region. In recent days, various areas in southern Lebanon, particularly along the border front, have witnessed sabotage and targeted mine-laying operations by Zionist soldiers.
