Schumer Accuses Trump of ‘Blatant Lies’ on Iran, Cites Hormuz Control

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Senate Democratic Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has accused President Donald Trump of telling “blatant lies” about Iran, asserting that Tehran has gained control of the Strait of Hormuz six months after a conflict initiated by the U.S. administration.

Schumer elaborated that six months have passed since Trump “ignited a war” that endangered American forces and led to a “skyrocketing” increase in fuel prices, causing global instability.

The Democratic leader contended that the Trump administration is publishing falsehoods about its failures concerning Iran. “The reality is that after six months, Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz,” Schumer stated.
