Russia Intensifies Strikes on Ukraine’s Energy Infrastructure

Russia’s armed forces have launched widespread attacks targeting Ukraine’s military industries and energy infrastructure in response to Kyiv’s actions, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency, citing RT, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated in a communiqué that the country’s armed forces have carried out extensive assaults against Ukraine’s military industries. The communiqué indicated that Russian forces attacked a facility storing explosives for a drone manufacturing company. The Russian Ministry of Defense further announced that its armed forces have initiated broad strikes against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in retaliation for Kyiv’s attacks on fuel and energy facilities. According to the statement, Russian forces also liberated the towns of Velyki Burluk and Sadky in Sumy Oblast. The Russian Ministry of Defense, while reporting the army’s advance on all fronts, specified that “Flamingo” missile launch platforms, an energy facility, a munition production facility, and Ukrainian army logistics centers were targeted.
