Iran Strikes Jordanian Air Bases in Retaliation for US Actions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has declared that it launched a retaliatory strike against two American air bases in Jordan, targeting infrastructure and aircraft. In its second statement, the IRGC’s public relations office announced that the Aerospace Force of the IRGC conducted a missile and drone operation, code-named ‘Ya Mohammad Ibn Abdullah (PBUH)’, in response to alleged U.S.-Israeli aerial aggression against Larak Island.

The operation reportedly targeted the technical and repair facilities, as well as the combat aircraft deployment areas, at the King Hussein Air Base and Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan. The IRGC stated that ballistic missiles were used in the attack, causing significant damage to the bases.

The statement from the IRGC warned that further transgressions by the enemy will not weaken the Islamic Republic’s control over the Strait of Hormuz and that any such actions will be met with even more decisive responses. The IRGC cited the nation’s 183 nights of steadfast presence in the field as a source of inspiration for the oppressed and a beacon of hope for the fighters of Islam, implying that enemy desperation will not be met with leniency.
