US Approves Military Sales to Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Oman

The United States Department of State has greenlit significant military sales, approving the potential sale of helicopters to Iraq, military engines to Saudi Arabia, and aircraft maintenance services to Oman.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Department of State has approved the potential sale of Bell 412 helicopters to Iraq, valued at approximately $150 million. This decision was reported by the Mehr News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen network.

In addition to the Iraqi helicopter deal, the U.S. State Department has also approved the potential sale of “AGT1500” engines for military applications to Saudi Arabia, with an estimated value of $750 million.

Furthermore, the department has agreed to the potential provision of maintenance and repair services for F-16 aircraft to Oman, a deal estimated to be worth $188 million.
