French Activists File Lawsuit Against Israel Over Gaza Aid Mission Abuses

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, 26 French activists who participated in humanitarian sea voyages towards the Gaza Strip have filed a lawsuit against the Israeli regime’s alleged crimes against humanity, including torture, before the Paris Court for the Fight against Terrorism. This report is based on data published by Mehr News Agency, citing Le Monde newspaper.

Lina Al-Tabbal, an international law researcher and French-Lebanese activist, officially filed a complaint against the Israeli regime, emphasizing that she was subjected to aggression by Israeli soldiers following an attack on a vessel affiliated with the Global Freedom Flotilla.

Israeli forces conducted three attacks in international waters against ships carrying humanitarian aid in October 2025, and in May and April 2026. Al-Tabbal stated that during these naval assaults by Israeli occupation forces, pro-Palestinian activists were deprived of water and food and were beaten. These Israeli soldiers also threatened the activists with death and stripped them naked. Al-Tabbal, along with three other women, was confined inside a small iron cage under the sun without water.

She further recounted that Itamar Ben-Gvir, the Israeli regime’s Minister of Internal Security, entered the women’s cell late at night with armed individuals and several dogs. He subjected the detainees to humiliating remarks and forced them to kneel.
