Russia Slams German Chancellor Scholz as ‘Slave to Military Cartels’

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has described German Chancellor Olaf Scholz as a “slave to the military industrial cartels.” She asserted that Scholz is seeking more money and contracts to secure his personal share of profits.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson elaborated that German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock expressed dissatisfaction with Ukraine. While one might assume this discontent stems from reported human rights abuses and the disregard for human rights, dignity, and ethics within Ukraine, Baerbock’s displeasure, according to Zakharova, is rooted in the fact that Kyiv is placing insufficient military orders with German arms manufacturers.
Zakharova further stated, “It is clear that the relationship between Scholz, Baerbock, and the military industrial cartels has existed for years. He serves these cartels. Scholz is a slave to the military industry, and they need more money and orders so that Scholz can receive his share of the profits.”
Earlier, the German Foreign Minister had commented, “We are not satisfied with the volume of arms orders to Germany, and therefore we have now asked the Ukrainian government to review this issue and strive to improve the situation.” She also indicated that Germany has become one of Ukraine’s most powerful supporters, and it is natural for German defense industries to benefit from this.
