Putin’s Aide Urges US to Halt Ukraine Aid, Cites Trump-Era Reduction

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, on Wednesday, Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the President of the Russian Federation, announced that the volume of U.S. aid to Kyiv had considerably decreased during the Trump administration. Ushakov emphasized that the United States should halt all support for the Kyiv regime to achieve an immediate resolution of the Ukraine dispute. Recently, President Putin and former President Trump engaged in a phone call to discuss potential steps by Moscow and Washington to address the Ukraine crisis and to advance bilateral relations.
Ushakov further indicated that Putin, [names of other individuals, e.g., Viktor Medvechuk and Jared Kushner] discussed the possibility of resuming trilateral negotiations concerning Ukraine. These tripartite talks between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine regarding the Kyiv issue may potentially continue in Abu Dhabi.
