Ukraine Corruption Concerns: 72% Hold Zelensky Responsible for Inner Circle’s Misconduct, Poll Finds

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology indicates that 72% of Ukrainian citizens hold President Volodymyr Zelensky accountable for corruption among his associates. The findings were published by Mehr News Agency, citing RIA Novosti.

The poll, which surveyed 1,002 adult citizens in Ukrainian government-controlled territories from September 12 to 21, 2026, aimed to gauge public opinion on the pervasive issue of corruption.

Results showed that 72% of respondents attributed responsibility to Zelensky for the misconduct of those around him. Conversely, 25% rejected this notion, while 3% provided no definitive answer.

The survey was conducted using computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) via random sampling of mobile phone numbers, with the collected data subsequently weighted for statistical analysis.
