Russia Strikes Ukrainian Energy Infrastructure and Drone Command Centers

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia‘s Ministry of Defense stated that its forces attacked energy facilities in the Kyiv region and infrastructure at the Izmail port on the Danube River. The statement indicated that a temporary deployment site and a control center for Ukrainian armed forces’ drones in Kharkiv Oblast were targeted using FAB-1500 bombs and multipurpose guided missiles.

Earlier reports from the Russian Ministry of Defense detailed that the country’s air defense forces had destroyed 384 Ukrainian drones over various Russian regions, including Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, and Voronezh, during the previous night.

The conflict in Ukraine has entered a new phase, with both Kyiv and Moscow intensifying drone and missile assaults against each other. This ongoing warfare continues in the second year of President Donald Trump’s administration, despite his earlier claims that he could end the war in less than 24 hours. The prolonged nature of the conflict has significantly undermined Trump’s standing and cast doubt on his assertions.
