Netanyahu Discusses Flydubai Incident with UAE President Amid Investigation

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held discussions with the President of the United Arab Emirates following an unspecified incident involving a Flydubai flight. The UAE’s Public Prosecution has ordered an investigation into the event.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, an Israeli envoy to the UAE stated that the motive behind the Flydubai incident remains unclear and it is premature to draw conclusions. The envoy added that the Prime Minister of the occupying regime spoke with the UAE President on Wednesday after the Flydubai incident.

This conversation occurred as the official Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the country’s Public Prosecution has ordered an investigation into the Flydubai aircraft incident and any potential links to terrorist activities. The UAE Public Prosecution’s directive comes after Flight FZ1073, operated by Flydubai from Dubai to Tel Aviv, was compelled to divert and make an emergency landing at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, October 1st, due to a security incident in the cockpit.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates also announced its follow-up on the incident involving the Flydubai flight from Dubai International Airport to Tel Aviv. The UAE’s Public Prosecutor has ordered the formation of a specialized team to examine the Flydubai flight incident.
