Yemen Hails US Troop Withdrawal from Iraq as Victory

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yemen‘s Foreign Ministry, aligned with the Ansar Allah movement, extended congratulations to the Iraqi people and the Popular Mobilization Forces on the expulsion of American occupiers from Iraq. The ministry emphasized that the withdrawal of American forces represents a victory for the Iraqi nation.
The Foreign Ministry of the Sana’a government further stated that this triumph would not have been achieved without Iraqi resistance, underscoring that foreign occupation, regardless of its duration, is ultimately doomed to failure. Earlier, the Nujaba movement also declared the departure of American forces and their allies from Iraq a “victory,” attributing this development to adherence to the “military option.”
In a statement commemorating this achievement, Nujaba announced that the United States was compelled to sign what it termed a “forces withdrawal agreement.” The movement asserted that military operations played a crucial role in forcing American troops to exit Iraq. Nujaba further viewed this development as fulfilling commitments to “martyrs Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.”
