Yemen Slams Saudi Fabrications Regarding Holy Sites

The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sana’a has condemned Saudi Arabia’s dissemination of false narratives concerning attacks on Islamic holy sites, warning that such deceit will not yield victory for Riyadh.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sana’a government, affiliated with Yemen‘s Ansar Allah, announced that the endorsement of Saudi Arabia’s fabricated narrative by certain governments is reprehensible. The ministry emphasized that the procurement of flattery from these governments by the Saudi regime will not bring any victory to Riyadh in the ongoing conflict, a fact that will become evident in the coming days.

The Sana’a Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that the aforementioned governments continue to view Saudi Arabia as a cash cow, even if the price involves grave slander against Islam’s most sacred sites. It called upon free thinkers in Islamic nations to protest these immense slanders and condemn their regimes’ participation in such fabrications.

Previously, Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, asserted that the repetition of Saudi lies regarding the targeting of Medina constitutes an unprecedented failure. He also placed full responsibility for any aggression against Mecca, Medina, and the Prophet’s Mosque squarely on Saudi Arabia.

In line with these statements, a Yemeni military source affirmed that Saudi Arabia’s claims about targeting the Medina power plant are baseless. The source further elaborated that this new falsehood has been introduced to cover up Saudi failures, recalling similar false claims made previously about Mecca.

Saudi Arabia had claimed that Yemeni forces targeted the Al-Taiba power plant in Medina.
