Saudi-Led Coalition Conducts Airstrikes on Yemen’s Sana’a Amidst Intensified Clashes

The Saudi-led coalition has launched airstrikes targeting the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, while forces aligned with Saudi Arabia claim to have recaptured strategic areas and advanced in Taiz province.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, media affiliated with Yemen‘s Ansarullah movement reported airstrikes on the city of Sana’a. Meanwhile, forces loyal to Saudi Arabia asserted that they had recaptured the Al-Maqarma and Al-Zakira areas and gained control of the strategic Al-Ja’sha mountain in the Samea district of Taiz province, as part of efforts to reinforce their positions.

These forces also announced the continuation of clashes with Ansarullah on the fronts of Jabal Habashi, Al-Kudhah, and Al-Shamayteen. Saudi-allied Yemeni forces claimed to be conducting effective operations against vital Ansarullah targets in Sana’a and Saada province, emphasizing that the military capabilities of the Ansarullah movement would not be spared from their armed forces’ attacks and would be destroyed.

According to claims by Saudi-allied forces, 97 precision targeting operations were carried out against Ansarullah reinforcements and equipment in the Thor Al-Baha front and the Taiz axis. These operations, the forces stated, were conducted using warplanes, drones, artillery, missiles, and snipers.
