Yemen Confirms Missile and Drone Strikes on Aramco Facilities in Riyadh

Yemen’s armed forces have confirmed conducting a missile and drone operation against Saudi Aramco facilities in Riyadh, citing retaliatory measures against Saudi aggression.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the spokesperson for Yemen‘s armed forces, Yahya Saree, announced that in response to Saudi transgressions against Sana’a, the Yemeni capital, and other provinces, a military operation was carried out targeting the Saudi Aramco company in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

The spokesperson emphasized that the operation utilized a number of ballistic missiles and drones, achieving precise and direct hits on the intended targets. Saree stated that this attack resulted in fires at the targeted locations within the Aramco facilities in Riyadh.

A statement from Yemen’s armed forces indicated that the casualties inflicted upon the Yemeni people necessitate escalatory and deterrent measures. The statement further warned that the price of disregarding Yemeni lives will be heavy, and the Saudi side should be aware that continued killing of Yemenis will incur significant costs.

The Yemeni armed forces spokesperson also stressed that his country will continue to implement the equation of “blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation.” Saree concluded by announcing that Yemeni forces will persist in targeting gatherings and reinforcement forces affiliated with Saudi Arabia until attacks cease and the blockade on Yemen ends.
