Hezbollah Official: Resistance to Continue as Long as Occupation Persists

A senior Hezbollah official has stated that resistance will remain a viable option as long as the occupation of southern Lebanon continues and the government fails to fulfill its responsibilities. The call comes amidst ongoing tensions and calls for prioritizing the liberation of occupied territories.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Sheikh Ali Daamoush, head of Hezbollah‘s Executive Council, emphasized the crucial role of scouting groups in society during a scout gathering in the southern suburb of Beirut. His remarks, as reported by Al-Manar, addressed the prevailing situation in southern Lebanon.

Daamoush asserted that in light of the ongoing occupation and aggressions, coupled with the government’s perceived inability to discharge its duties, the defense of the land and adherence to resistance will remain a steadfast choice. He urged Lebanese authorities to re-evaluate their approach, stressing that the liberation of the south and the return of its displaced residents should be among the nation’s paramount concerns.
