Pakistani Think Tank Claims Islamabad’s Involvement in Yemen Aggression

A Pakistani think tank has alleged that Islamabad participated in the aggression against Yemen, citing a Mecca agreement with Saudi Arabia. The Pakistani government has yet to issue an official statement on the matter.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a Pakistani think tank claimed on Monday that Islamabad had participated in the aggression against Yemen based on the Mecca agreement with Saudi Arabia.

The Pakistani think tank alleged in a post on X that the “Yemen Dawn operation” had commenced against Yemenis with the participation of Pakistan and other members of the Mecca pact.

This comes as the Pakistani government has not yet issued any official statement regarding the allegations.

Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia are members of the Mecca agreement.

Earlier, Reuters had reported, citing a Pakistani official, that Islamabad had deployed between 30,000 and 40,000 military personnel to Saudi Arabia. These forces were reportedly intended for border protection and to assist in countering missile and drone attacks.
