Yemeni Forces Down Saudi Wing Loong 2 Drone Over Taiz

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yemeni armed forces spokesperson Yahya Saree announced on Monday that Yemeni forces successfully shot down a Wing Loong 2 armed reconnaissance drone belonging to Saudi forces. The drone was targeted and downed with an appropriate weapon while conducting hostile missions in the skies over Taiz province.

This development comes as Saudi fighter jet sorties continue to target Sana’a. The Yemeni Ministry of Health reported that nine civilians, including a young girl, were killed or wounded during Saudi airstrikes on the capital. Saudi jets also bombed areas in Saada, northern Yemen.
