France Protests: 488 Arrested, 43 Officers Injured Amid Nationwide Demonstrations

France experienced widespread protests today, with authorities reporting 488 arrests and 43 police and security personnel injured amidst nationwide demonstrations. The unrest, largely driven by high school students, saw significant participation across the country.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the French Ministry of Interior announced that 488 individuals were arrested and 43 police and security forces were injured during protests held across the country today. Official figures indicate that 256,000 people participated nationwide, with 56,000 gathering in Paris.
These demonstrations were organized as part of a protest movement spearheaded by high school students. Organizers, however, presented a different account of the turnout, claiming 450,000 participants across France and asserting that 100,000 protesters had converged in the nation’s capital.
