Hezbollah Declares Al-Aqsa Flood’s Impact Transcends Region and Palestinian Cause

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hezbollah of Lebanon has issued a statement responding to the third anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, conducted by Palestinian resistance groups in the occupied territories. The statement, citing war media, highlighted that three years have passed since the historic October 7, 2023, event that shook the world, yet discussions surrounding its narratives continue. The operation, Hezbollah stated, reignited the Palestinian issue for those who had attempted to bury it for years through oblivion and compromise agreements facilitated by arrogant powers and their allies.
Hezbollah further elaborated that understanding the motivations behind the operation reveals it as a courageous, unprecedented, natural, justified, and legitimate act against the immense oppression threatening Palestine and its people with annihilation. The group characterized the Al-Aqsa Flood as a significant shock whose impact should be measured by its values, laws, and political influence, rather than by power dynamics, dominance, or excessive violence leading to the genocide of women and children.
The statement noted that while global populations rallied in support of the human values and rights highlighted by the Palestinian cause through the Al-Aqsa Flood, with Western capitals and universities witnessing widespread protests against genocide and crimes against humanity, the region surrounding Palestine experienced confusion. This was attributed to the operation deviating from the normalization and surrender trajectory that Arab regimes were being steered towards by the Israeli regime and its international backers.
Hezbollah added that despite its brutality and genocidal actions, the Israeli regime has failed to eliminate the existence of Hamas, other resistance factions, or the people of Gaza. The situation remains ongoing and is leading to developments whose ramifications extend beyond the Gaza Strip to the future of the entire region, the Palestinian cause, international security and peace, and even the deceptive international order and claims of human rights advocacy.
The Lebanese resistance emphasized that the Al-Aqsa Flood revealed the magnitude of the Palestinian people and the strength of their will and steadfastness against the Israeli regime’s killing machine. It exposed the true face of the criminal and brutal Israeli regime and, by extension, the American enemy and the forces of global arrogance. October 7 also unveiled the hollowness of the international community’s and its institutions’ claims of defending freedom and justice, demonstrating their inability to protect the most basic human rights and revealing the complicity of those who remained silent in the face of the ugliest crimes, massacres, and genocide against a nation.
The statement declared Hezbollah’s unwavering commitment in Lebanon to the justice of the Palestinian cause and its support for its resilient and oppressed people. Hezbollah reiterated its strong condemnation of the Zionist genocide, which it said exposes all the false values of the global community, holding the United States government and silent Western countries responsible for the Zionist crimes. Hezbollah also called upon the peoples of the world to rise up in support of human rights, safeguard justice, and prevent the powerful from dominating international laws and their applications.
In conclusion, the statement affirmed support for all resistance factions to remain steadfast and united against the enemy’s project, its supporters, and its accomplices. It also warned regional rulers that silence, tolerance, and subservience to the enemy and its allies will only lead to the weakening of their power, their enfeeblement, and the empowerment of the enemy to manipulate the future of their countries and peoples.
