US Stands With Saudi Arabia, Demands Halt to Yemen Attacks

The United States strongly condemns recent attacks on Saudi Arabia, including the incident at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh that claimed the life of an American citizen, and emphasizes its solidarity with the Kingdom, calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced in a statement that America vehemently condemns the recent assaults on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which resulted in the death of an American citizen.

Rubio stated, “These attacks must stop right now,” and underscored Washington’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia. He further affirmed, “We stand alongside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

The U.S. Secretary of State’s remarks followed confirmation from the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia that Saturday’s attack on Riyadh Airport had caused 12 fatalities. Among the deceased were four Saudi Arabian citizens, two Bangladeshi nationals, and individuals from the United States, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, and Sudan. The authority also reported that 309 other individuals were injured in the attack, with several in critical condition. The incident also inflicted damage on airport property and facilities.
