Hamas Denounces Israeli Defense Minister’s Assassination Threat Against Senior Leader

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has responded to threats made by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz against Khalil al-Hayya. Hamas declared that these threats constitute organized terrorism and demonstrate the approach of lawless regimes that do not adhere to international laws.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) emphasized that these threats also reflect the political bankruptcy of the occupying cabinet and its fascist members. Hamas asserted that these threats will not alter the movement’s firm stance and national approach to struggle and resistance. The movement vowed to continue its fight until all rights of the Palestinian people are reclaimed, primarily ending the occupation. It further stated that these threats will only lead to further insistence by Hamas and its leaders on their national positions.
Hamas also called on mediators to take a decisive and serious stance against these reckless statements and condemn them. The movement reiterated its commitment to the ceasefire agreement and the roadmap supported by United States President Donald Trump. It urged mediators to pressure the occupying regime to fulfill its obligations, particularly to halt its aggressions and end the siege on the Palestinian people.
Earlier, the Israeli Defense Minister had publicly threatened the head of Hamas. Israel Katz, while threatening Khalil al-Hayya, claimed that senior Hamas members had been assassinated in Gaza, and this time, it was Khalil al-Hayya’s turn to join Haniyeh and his associates.
