Yemen Warns Against Foreign Military Intervention Amidst Regional Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Supreme Political Council of Yemen has cautioned against any external military interference in the country. A member of the council, Abdulaziz bin Habtour, stated that disregarding the underlying causes of the current crisis and merely condemning its outcomes will not bring about security.
Bin Habtour highlighted that the recent escalation of attacks by Saudi Arabia and the unfolding regional developments are intrinsically linked to the aggressions and blockade of previous years, holding Saudi Arabia primarily responsible for the continuation of these conflicts.
He further asserted that Saudi Arabia’s security is interdependent with Yemen’s security. He pointed out the contradiction in calls for the protection of Saudi airports while denying the Yemeni people their right to utilize their own airports and ports.
Recent events, according to Bin Habtour, have underscored the dangers of relying on military solutions. He reiterated Yemen’s warning regarding the repercussions of any foreign military intervention or efforts to expand the scope of the current hostilities.
