Trump Threatens Ukraine with Intelligence Cutoff Over Russian Energy Attacks

The United States has warned Ukraine against continuing attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, threatening to halt intelligence cooperation if such actions persist, according to a CNN report citing informed sources.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, CNN reported, citing informed sources, that the United States has cautioned Ukraine against continuing its assaults on Russian energy facilities, threatening to suspend intelligence cooperation if these attacks do not cease. The report indicates that President Donald Trump has warned Ukraine that intelligence support could be withdrawn. Additionally, the U.S. has cautioned Kyiv that European arms purchases from Washington aimed at supporting Ukraine might be halted.

Axios previously reported that U.S. President Donald Trump was angered by his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, and expects Kyiv to end its attacks on Russian oil refineries. A source within the White House stated, “Trump is extremely angry.” The U.S. President believes Zelensky does not sufficiently appreciate Washington’s support. Ukraine’s attacks on oil refineries, the source added, are damaging Trump’s relationship with Zelensky more than they are harming Russia.
